I was raised on a dairy farm in southeastern South Dakota. I grew up with a strong work ethic and a love for music. It would have been hard not to. With the number of hours I spent in the dairy barn and in the tractor, I had a lot of time to absorb the influences of the music being played on the radio. I began playing in a local band which played venues in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota and penned my first song at the age of eighteen. My music takes root in the harmonies, melodies and lyrics of such artists as Alabama, the Eagles, Garth Brooks, John Cougar Meloncamp and Huey Lewis and the News. Ill never forget sitting in high school English one day and looking up to see a quote by Robert F. Kennedy that said Only those who dare to fail greatly can achieve greatly. Thinking about, I decided to sell part of my farm and move to Nashville. So here I am! Ahhhhh, life is good! Thanks for stopping in my site here, and I hope you enjoy looking around.
