About Me

“You may never know what results come of your action, but if you do nothing there will be no result” ~ Ghandi
About Me? That's a loaded question isn't it? I am from around the world and back. If I had to claim any city it would be Riverside. Who am I? I am father's son and my mother's baby boy. My family is my world. My friends are my world. Family + Friends = Me. Simple enough equation, right? Without these two pieces of the puzzle I wouldn't be who I am. To sum it up, my family and friends embody the loyalty, honesty, sincerity, creativity, goal setting, hard working, endless dreaming, active, outgoing spirit that encompasses me. I don't play games. Ask me a straight forward question and you will get a straight forward answer. Life is to short for lies. The truth hurts and that is just another part of life. I gained a greater prospective on life through my travels and my educational institutions. No one is ever going to give me an easy pass in life. My life depends working hard and if it is meant to be it is meant to be. Unexpected things will happen in my life, that much is certain. I can't control the unexpected but I can control what I do on a day to day basis and that is working hard and giving the best to every situation. My imperfections make me perfect because nothing or no one is perfect. I am the way I am suppose to be and that is what makes me, me. So if this gives any insight on who I am, good. If not, oh well...

My Interests

One of my favorite videos! Much respect to Mos Def and MJ! Check this out?!? Now this is reality TV! Big shouts out to Dream Regime! Nelson Mandela "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."Mahatma Ghandi "Truth resides in every human heart, and one has to search for it there, and to be guided by truth as one sees it. But no one has a right to coerce others to act according to his own view of the truth."
Sidney Poitier "I never had an occasion to question color, therefore, I only saw myself as what I was... a human being."
Michael Jordan "If you're trying to achieve, there will be roadblocks. I've had them; everybody has had them. But obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it."
Tupac Shakur "We talk a lot about Malcom X and Martin Luther King JR, but It's time to be like them, as strong as them. They were mortal men like us and everyone of us can be like them. I don't want to be a role model. I just want to be someone who says, this is who i am, this is what i do."
Jack Johnson "For every point I'm given, I'll have earned two, because I'm a Negro."
