2008 John Lennon Songwriting Award Winner

About Me

Award winning guitarist, Jeremy Zmuda, grew up in Long Beach, IN. While living in the outskirts of Chicago-Land he was often lured to the city for it's rich jazz and blues scene. Often he would sneek out of his parents home late at night, drive into the city to hear some of the city's best musicians. After years of mandatory piano lessons, he soon fell in love with the guitar at the age of 16. At 20, Jeremy packed up his axe and moved to Boston's Berklee School Of Music. While there he was awarded scholarship and graduated with honors. Mr. Zmuda stayed in Boston for a number of years, and was an in demand side man and music educator. In 2004 Jeremy moved to New York City where he soon was playing with some of the city's best musicians. His latest record, "End Of An Era", 2006, which won the 2008 John Lennon Award for best composition. .. -- -- CDBABY LINK for JEREMY ZMUDA: End Of An Era --
