Her vocal range and ability is unbelievable ranging from similarities to Aretha Franklin stretching right back to Norah Jones. She has gained a very healthy respect from producers like John Leakey (The Beatles), Jez Coad(Simple Minds) to artists like Ray Charles who once described Niamh’s voice as having moments of genius.The man who fronts Beasty Boys label Mark Dillon said anyone who gets Sherl Crow needs to listen to Niamh Strong,her songs and the production are really fresh and new. Niamh has toured around the World with her brother Andrew Strong (Aka Deco Cuff, the ficticius charter and lead singer from the movie 'The Commitments').During this time Niamh performed backing vocals for Andrew as well as opening the show on the recent tour of Australia.Now it is time for Niamh to take centre stage herself .She has recently been collaborating with Peter O’Toole ex Hothouse Flowers who is one of Irelands greatest song writers and you can hear the tracks now on Niamh’s My Space - you will be in for a great treat.
