About Me

well then. i'm jen. welcome to my page. i'm a lover of music (gimme guitars and british accents and i'm in heaven), fashion, jack russell x chihuahua's, not working, indian food, and shoes. i've recently moved from P-town to Melbourne and am loving life here. not happy that i have to work a full time job, but one must pay the rent somehow... one day i believe i'll be so rich and successful i'll hire a full time monkey to update my myspace page for me. lovely! i like to take photo's of myself and other people... and dogs.

cue slideshows!

Life in Melbourne...

the way it was... life in Perth before moving to Melbourne

My Interests

Music, music, music!!

Also love playing guitar (just started learning) vegetarian cooking, my dogs, red bull & vodka's, shoes, property investing, going to see live bands, Q & NME mags, NME live streaming (there goes my broadband limit...), my mates who i never see anymore (come to melbs soon biatchs :P ) and clothes shopping in melbourne - the best in the land!

Julian Casablancas - nummy...

I'd like to meet:

anyone from anywhere who likes decent music. people who can show me a good time without it costing me the earth. property investing gurus. Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Colin Firth (swoon etc), Alex Turner, myself in 20 years...

Cansei de ser Sexy - Music is my Hot Hot Sex. ahhhh, the essence of now, Brazilian band CSS. love them. want to be them. especially the accents. so hot.

Jamie T - Sheila. am getting rather excited about seeing Jamie live next week. Pacemaker = best song i've heard in ages (alas it wasn't on youtube).

Elvis Costello - Veronica. and to think i didn't like this guy because of his name?? very early memories of my childhood come flooding back every time i listen to Mr Costello... shame about the sound on this clip, but love it anyway.

Kate Nash - Foundations. ok, i love her. so sue me.

Music:

if it's indie or britpop there's a high probability that i'll love it. melbourne gets all the good bands touring thank god... i've recently been to some EXCELLENT gigs, including Maximo Park (best gig ever IMO). i've got loads coming up too - 1990s, Jamie T, Hard-Fi, Klaxons, Art Brut, Killers & Muse. it's all go!! most rotated on my mp3 player atm are Kate Nash, Elvis Costello, Hot Hot Heat, The Coral, Cansei de ser Sexy, Reverend & the Makers, Athlete and as always, Blur.

has anyone heard anything about blur reuniting? it was supposed to happen this month... jenjenz waits with baited breath...
