Module was formed in the year of 2005 in Jonkoping, Sweden with the band members: Anders Lejon, Olle Lejon, Jonas Lindgren and Henrik Myntti. The band started rehearsing and tried to get some live appearances. The live debut took place at Nordisk Gardsbandsfestival in Jonkoping. During a couple of months with no planned concerts, Anders wrote some new songs that would be introduced on Modules next show at Café Sjobo. A demo tape was recorded in February 2006. The tape included the songs The Prisoner, Johnny Who, Voice On The Radio and Spin The Wheel Of Time. Module thereafter succeeded in booking some new shows. After the Ung Kraft festival in May 2006, Module band member Henrik Myntti decided to leave the band. With the three childhood friends left in the band, Module had to prove that they were able to maintain their sound. The proof took the shape of a live recorded tape from Modules rehearsal room with Maikel Solaas as producer. The tape included the songs: Jet plane To Monaco, an extended version of the song Voice On The Radio and Pulse.
Module has a classical rock sound mixed with edgy pop/rock.
