The Erase-Hers were formed in the early Spring of 2006. Band members include ex-members of The John Stamos Project, The Whoa-Babies, and 48 in the Basement.
Matt C. was busy writing music for a new band that would have female fronted vocals after the John Stamos Project was put on hiatus due to a member of the band relocating. After cutting a few crappy demos on a 4 track, where he slowed down the track speed to sing along and then sped it back up to normal volume to make his voice sound feminine, Matt started assembling the band. Steve, former drummer for The John Stamos Project, was a no brainer. Matt then recruited long time friend Matt D. to play the Synth/Keys. After posting in various sources inquiring for a Bass player, Ren told Matt C. he would definetly be interested in playing with them. All that was left was to find the last piece of the puzzle: lead vocals.
fter many months of no luck and frustration, the band began practicing without a singer. Finally, Tanya contacted Matt regarding a post on Craig's List Internet want ad site and the band scheduled a practice. Tanya fit in perfectly and so The Erase-Hers were finally complete.
The Erase-Hers recorded 3 songs with audio engineer Chris Fasulo at East Coast Recording Studio. These songs were released as the "Out Of My Mind" CDEP. The band is currently in the studio recording their debut full-length album.
The Erase-Hers have been playing shows like crazy! Check them out!
