Arcane made his first debut in the toronto jungle scene in
2000, alongside his long-time DJ partner Furios, and was then
sponsored by FederalSound Clothing. since then, Arcane has worked
with all the major DJ's and emcee's in the local DnB circuit... and has hosted countless parties, shows and events at major clubs from the Hamilton, Toronto/GTA area, all the way to Rochester, NY.
This talented emcee started turning headz in the Hiphop scene in 2003 when he started entering emcee competitions and battles,... winning almost every battle he entered! Arcane was named champion at Skillz of Steel, Get Raw, Roc da Mic, Erb n' Legends 2004 - 2006 and several others. He has been known to embarrass the competition and has beaten out the some of the best Toronto battle rappers (ie. Scandalis, Chuggo, etc.) to earn his titles. Arcane has since become well-known for his battle record in both the hip-hop and drum n' bass communities, which has also earned him much respect and larger booking oppertunities in both scenes.
In these past few years, Arcane has opened for Royce da 5'9, Masta Ace, Jeru the Damaja, Wordsworth and Punchline, Kardinal Offishal, Checkmate and Concise... aswell as sharing the stage with Bigger UK performers
like Congo Natty(3x), Dj Hazard, Dj Devize etc.. and he is now sponsored by DubPlateSpecial Clothing and Urban Alley.
Arcane's style is raw! A gifted lyricist and captivating story
teller, with skillz in mad different flows! His on-point delivery,
provocative punchlines and catchy hooks give the crowd just what
they want. Plus his diverse experience and versitility ensures that
he's got the rymes to rock any audience! With his buzz continuing
to grow, he has become a favorite among fans, promoters and even
other emcees! but whether it's a show or a battle.....you can bet
Arcane will make it look easy!
Arcane is currently dedicating much of his time to the studio, working on a solo hip-hop project which has already been highly anticipated. His first full-length album will be realeased in the summer 2008, and will feature production by John P., FundaMental, CrissyCriss, SpenZilla and others.
