Whether it be to the two gifted & beautiful teenagers I gave birth to, or the many amazing kids I have emotionally adopted along the way, I have truly been blessed. I have never once claimed to be the best mom in the world, for I believe there is no such thing. We can think we are doing a pretty good job, and then our children shine "the mirror of life" in our faces, showing us our reflection, reminding us of why we're here...and who we truly are. It's a neverending, extremely beautiful circle that we share with our children...they learn from us, we learn from them...always~~~
I write all of the time, I often wake up in the middle of the night to do it...anything from the dreams/nightmares I have, to dialogue I overhear that might be great in a script, to poetry (all of my blogs contain some of my poetry)I have also written a play that is being supported by Arizona Department of Health Services as a tool in the fight against sexual violence...and I am pretty dang proud of that...and I am even more proud of the teen actors who work so hard on the devastating content of the play, motivated only by the sheer goal to educate their peers on rape. I love you guys~~~
I laugh a lot...even when I'm not supposed to, like at weddings and funerals. I will lean in with anticipation to hear the naughtiest joke, only to blush furiously at the same time. (I am sooo weird like that lol)
I believe that laughing can get you through just about anything~~~I have never been one to appreciate (or follow lol)rules that hinder creativity or stiffle laughter...the very two things I enjoy the most in others, as well as myself~~~I believe in all things magickal~~~
I believe that karma can be a bitch so it is always better to treat all people with respect. (and if people are mean to you, take comfort in knowing that their karma will be a reflection of themselves, and if youre lucky, you will get to watch it happen. ;)~~~
I believe that listening is more important than talking~~~
I believe that injustice starts at the top and bleeds poison throughout our country...and I believe this began in 1492~~~
I believe that child molesters cannot be rehabilitated and should be placed on an island somewhere far,far away and not be allowed to return to the streets where our children play-even after serving jail time~~~
I believe that female teachers should get the same penalties as male teachers when they have sex with their underage students...and that those penalties should be tougher on both~~~ I believe that no religion is the "right" religion and what is "right" should be chosen by each individual~~~
I believe that people should be color blind, because when it all comes down to it, we all have the same red heart. :)
