*Ahem* well my name is dan. I like to make people laugh first off! Badd mood? sad? I'll cheer you up with a money back offer! I'm open i'll tell you how it is. I'm also too nice sometimes i guess...get taken advantage of. Not good :( um what else can i say? Oh i love rock, and mostly any other type of music, as long as it's good. I really don't need to hear songs about drugs or drinking or songs that degrade women...please. I'm an old fashioned gentleman at heart. Stinky puddle? i'll put my coat on the floor so you can step over it...though i wish you would just walk AROUND the puddle! lol j/p. I like to draw, i'll grab a piece of paper and doodle. i can draw alsmost anything, i just need it in front of me and i need time! I can be funny, silly, and goofy, or i can talk to you about the meaning of life, about god, abuot politics, about science if you like. Basicly i'm a buffet of knowledge and i'll talk about whatever you want. i read the news, watch cartoons, listen to rock, make fun of bush...i can do it:P

Most people think Time is like a river, that flows swift and sure in one direction. They are wrong. Sit down and I will tell you a tale like none that you have ever heard.

People break down into two groups when they experience something lucky. Group number one sees it as more than luck, more than coincidence. They see it as a sign, evidence, that there is someone up there, watching out for them. Group number two sees it as just pure luck. A happy turn of chance. I'm sure the people in group number two are looking at those fourteen lights in a very suspicious way. For them, this situation is a fifty-fifty. Could be bad, could be good. But deep down, they feel that whatever happens, they're on their own. And that fills them with fear. Yeah, there are those people. But there's a whole lot of people in the group number one. When they see those fourteen lights, they're looking at a miracle. And deep down, they feel that, whatever's going to happen, there'll be someone there to help them. And that fills them with hope. See, what you have to ask yourself is, what kind of person are you? Are you the kind that sees signs, sees miracles? Or do you believe that people just get lucky? Or, look at the question this way: is it possible that there are no coincidences?...There is no one watching out for us, Merrill. We are all on our own.
The only thing people like more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying. In spite of everything you've done, eventually they will hate you... Why bother?
He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that. And Lord knows, kids need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams.
If something is precious to you, no matter how
painful or how sad it is, or how hard it seems, no
matter what it may cost you, you have to hang in
there, and protect it with all the strength you've
got, even at the risk of you own life. If you do that,
then even if you die in the attempt, at least the
world will be left with the proof that a man worth
living had died.
