ill format records was established in 2001, by ILL NICKELL LYRICAL CHEF, in COCHITI, NEW MEXICO. he started off by recording alot of solo shit, and other shit along with ACE-OP who then left, moving to california . then NICKELL moved to ALBUQUERQUE and brought the studio with him. he then met the WANDERER. he recorded more solo shit, and other shit along with the WANDERER, such as the hit ILL FORMAT CHANT "PINK TACO, MUTHA FACKOO". he left because of the sytles of muzik, NICKELL was getting into. also basically a loss of contact. NICKELL then met SMALLZ ONE THE BLACK WIDOW. they recorded alot of shit as well. they then signed the SEDIZTIK JEZTERZ, and provided them with better sounding shit. the SEDIZTIK JEZTERZ than brought thier protoge, JYNX THE KURZED ONE onboard. they created and made the 505 super group, THE MORBID ELEMENTS. NICKELL AND SMALLZ LEFT ILL FORMAT and signed to sadiztik productionz (we still love them even though they do what they do). NICKELL handed the rights over to DMIZE THE JEZTER, who took head of everything. since his reign on top of ill format as a co-CEO, 3 other artists have signed. JYNX's blood brother SKEARKROWE, the first street teamer, THE RED SKINNED KILLA, and GRAVEZ. many albums have dropped, some are in the works. now you know the basic history of ILL FORMAT.
