Flyer designs by Nerys James ..The Sugarfoot Stomp opened its newborn eyes to the world in September 2004.From this date until February 2006, DJs Doris, Daisy, Deloros, Delphi, Dorothy and Dakota ran a monthly night at Birmingham's Sunflower Lounge.They have now relocated to the decadent residence that is the Bulls Head in Moseley. The Sugarfoot ladies, as they have done in the past, come out for one night a month on Thursdays to get away from their culinary and embroidery duties and to have a good old shindig.Past ventures include:March 2005 7 inch cinema at the Rainbow. Film night with local filmmakers showcasing their talents as well as more well known films and music. The gals provided the music before and after a special commemorative screening of this film at West Bromwich Town Hall. Birmingham live music and events purveyors Capsule were the organisers of this festival which took place at The Custard Factory in Birmingham. In April 2007, Doris packed her old kit bag and left to bedazzle herself on the bright lights of London town. As well as remaining at The Bulls Head we are now doing things all over the country such as The Burlesque Domestic Appliances Gorefest in Bristol.
