Paolo Tamoni ,class of 1981, was artistically born in 1999/2000 in a club of his hometown, where for the first time he could listen to techno/progressive guests, which brought him purchasing his first vynils and turntables and making his first mixings.With the collaboration of Metempsicosi, Paolo became dj resident in that club: in this way he could let the local audience and the guest artists know him as a dj. He has been working there for almost two seasons, taking great gratifications and obtaining gigs in other local clubs and events. In 2002, he spent a whole season at Expo Club. In the same year as well, Paolo was a finalist in the DJ PROMO contest at INSOMNIA club (PI).Afterwards, he spent a year delving into his musical knowledges; he discovered international artists such as UMEK, CHIRIS LIEBING, KANZYANI and above all the techno/hardgroove beat of Neapolitan djs: MARCO CAROLA, GAETANO PARISIO, DANILO VIGORITO,RINO CERRONE, DAVIDE SQUILLACE , MARKANTONIO...He felt in love with that new music style, so that he fully focused on it, gathering how many vynils he could, improving his technique and approaching to his first music production softwares.After a short period of gigs in a house music club (PIPER Privee) with a PR group, in 2004 he performed two events in the Main Room of AIDA club and, during the same year, up- to-four-hours parties at CSC.In 2005 Paolo became a coworker of Explicit Musick ( or VYNIL PROMOTION for events such as MEET ME, STARDOME, SINDUSTRY, TAOTECH), of DIFFERENT GROOVES Agency and FABBRIKA KLUB, after he came in contact with his friends Samuele and the Kroda “brothersâ€.
Currently, in addition to his dj sets, Paolo applies himself in music productions in his homestudio.
