I am Madly trying to make something of myself... is this how life is supposed to be? I work wayyyy to hard for far too little money, but I love what I do... so what can I say? If you're wondering what exactly I do: I am a jeweller, or perhpas you could say - small object maker, since a lot of what i make is not exactly jewellery. I make boxes that hold the jewellery, jewellery that is a box that holds little treasures... not your average bling. I have a terrible habit of using the net for just about everything I can.. although not supermarket shopping, not yet. I use it for entertainment in the early hours when sleep eludes me or I am procrastinating about work. I am creative in every aspect of my life, possibly overly artistic (its a curse I tell you), enjoy my own space, but also dig hanging out with cool people... especially if you have a brain. Current favourite films include: Batman Begins,The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello, Princess Mononoke, Howls Moving Castle, and Ultraviolet. I shamelessly enjoy bad vampire flicks and comic-book remakes, action films with large explosions; extremely sexy women (and men), and also kids movies, especially japanese anime. Socially I enjoy eating and shooting the breeze with good mates, I really love to dance, but dislike guys trying to pull "the moves" on you on the dance floor. Musical trends have been predominantly British Dance Music: Oakenfold, Underworld, etc, but recently really been digging NZ sounds. New fave band: THE BLUSH RESPONSE. check it out!!! Visuals: Love good tattoos, some piercings. I love a great dresser, but avoid people who take themselves too seriously. My own art tends to belong to Pop Surrealism/steam-Punk, and I love Cathedrals and Big Trees. I am addicted to animals... my cat is going on 13 now.... and she still loves me, so I can't be doing too badly. I hope the year pans out ok, and I actually get everything finished without going crazy!
