MySpace Contact TablesWelcome to the CyberSphere of Morgan-John Gerk, also known in the music industry as Morgan Thorn. I'm a strange dichotomy of character, so to speak. I have many interests and many accomplishments, some of which are in direct conflict with each other at all times. I have always strived for perfection in everything I do, yet by doing so, one inevitably seems to spread oneself rather thin. I've been the frontman for some awesome world renown bands throughout the years (Vicious Rumors, High Treason, Megaton Blonde), and made some great albums that have sold throughout the world. I've also starred in a PG-13 film (Dexter Dickie) and a bit of tv (Jerry Springer). I have held some rather prestigious positions in my career as a an Environmental Scientist, including that of a Fisheries Management Technician in the Great Lakes with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, where I logged many hours at sea on research vessels studying atomic nuclei depositions in benthic sediments. Presently, I am a Master Responder with the world's largest emergency marine oil spill response corporation (MSRC), and I work in chorus with many environmental regulatory agencies to keep our ocean waters clean and safe, including NOAA, California Fish and Game, and Clean Seas.
