Miguel Angel Roca was born in Mallorca and currently lives in Madrid. He worked as a radio announcer, presenter and dj in Los 40 Principales for seven years and currently works in MAXIMAFM (the leading dance music radio station in Spain) where he has his own radio show on Friday nights called LA ROCA, where for 2 hours (10-12 PM - GMT +1) he goes through everything in his box playing practically all the styles derived from house music.His career as a DJ has taken him to different clubs all over the country such as RIU PALACE (where he was resident dj for seven years), BCM and TITO´S in Palma de Mallorca, Metropol (Pontevedra), Embassi (Vigo), Pacha (Málaga), Pacha (Barcelona), Pacha (Mallorca), Catedral (Sevilla), Aqualung, La Riviera and Arena (actually Sala Heineken) where he has his own party once a month called RADIOSTAR, and Vampis (Tenerife) where is playing once a month too.He has shared line ups with djs like Junior Jack, Kid Creme, George Morel, Danny "Buddah" Morales, Kevin Yost, Sandy Rivera, Dr Kucho!, DJ Oliver, Jesse Garcia amongst others...In March 2004, introduced by Tanga Records (Vale Music) and under the wings of David Amo and Julio Navas (Fresco Records), he began a new phase in his professional career. Together with Les Fils Du Soleil, he recorded his first single, which went to number 3 on the MAXIMA FM charts and was entitled THIS KIND OF THING . The song has been played in the coolest clubs in the country by djs like Dr Kuchol and DJ Oliver.As for his sessions, they are 100% eclectic; he is currently evolving in both technique and content, playing everything from funky-house to underground sounds, reaching a wide public.
