Ms. Hayes also had the pleasure of performing before Iyanla Vanzant, noted world renowned author and lecturer. As a contestant on BET JAZZ DISCOVERY, the networks weekly jazz competition, Sheila Hayes & Company won for one week. ************************************************************ **** From her first CD "Sheila Hayes & Company LIVE!, proceeds were donated to the Battered Women Shelters. Daryl Alexander, Sr. of DAP Entertainment teamed with Ms. Hayes on her second project. The result of this paring is the single "Take A Chance, the lyrical version of Mr.Alexander's Let's Take A Chance from his "Tea For Two CD. Through Reel Sound of Music, Take A Chance shot to ..1 on the MP3.COM Jazz Vocal Chart where it stayed for 68 days. ************************************************************ **** As an entrepreneur, Ms. Hayes started an independent record label, Soop Qooler Records, and artist management company, Hazey Management. ************************************************************ **** As a poet, the Editorial Advisory Board of the International Library of Poetry has nominated Ms. Hayes for membership in their world renowned-International Society of Poets!
