In 2004, Patrick and Damien, both guitarists, had in mind to create a metal band : EXIL. Friends in music, friends in life, they started to look for members to complete the band in Sambreville, where they..re from.
After a few months, Simon joined the band as the drummer. Then EXIL had to pass trough difficulties to find its identity. In order to achieve this aim, they had to accept a revolution.
The arrival of the missing link, Herv.., as the drummer, and the final line-up changes (Simon : vocals, Damien : bass guitar), made EXIL finally rise up.
In September of 2006 EXIL entered the Noise Factory Studio and left with a brand new demo CD called ..Original Speaking... A music derived from multiple influences, it combines heavy metal sound with hard-rock rhythms; that..s a way we could qualify it.
November 4th 2006 at the MJ Tamines, EXIL gave a taste of their musical strength, and it was a succes.
In our world, escape to despair, expression of anger, subversion until self-revolution, could be found in music, exile, a gate to elsewhere.
