About Me

For those who wish to know...
Danced to Barry Manilow records my mother tormented me with at the age of 4. Developed a sense of rhythm, in a syncopated way, at the age of 5...
Learned what fear was at age 6. it sucked then, and still does now...
Discovered the drums at 7. Revenge for my mother's torment...
Watched my father play 'Chariots of Fire' on a B3 at age 8. Was amazed and sworn to myself, as much as an 8 year old could, that I would learn it.
Learned 'Chariots of Fire' on the organ at age 9. Felt what accomplishment feels like.
Became addicted to accomplishment at age 10.
age 11 was a rather borish year....
At 12 picked up a guitar.
Broke all my mother's Barry Manilow records at 13. Developed chicken pox, and bad karma.
15 entered high school, emerging from a grade school graduating class of a whopping 9 students, and learned a mountain of guitar from a friend's older brother. Discovered Dylan in the process, as well as other rather worthy types...
at 16, grunge occurred. life was good. Found Radiohead. life was again good.
17, Cobain died. life was confusing. fell into jazz. played music with Joe...
18, went to college, blew my mind, found more music, and a prodigy named Richie, became a part West chester music life. Absorbed to the point of implosion.
at 19 found fear's older brother. he was much more gross than his sibling I met at age 6. He pokes his head in from time to time to check on me like a midnight soap-towel raid in the barracks...
20 years old I learned how to write about it.
at 21 I drank legally, like many do...its nothing more than convenience. At age 22 I found America. She is beautiful, if you look hard enough...
when i was 23, I found the true meaning of trauma and sorrow, followed by denial and anger. Punched a mirror and broke my hand. I also learned to write about this, and found friends who wanted to play music about it...
...Ive been doing this since. And this is me now.More recently, I sung and played guitar in Modus, and played keys/synths/guitars in Overlook. I play guitar for Quick Step John, as well as other fill in spots for various bands in the Philly area. I am returning to writing and recording my solo work. Life, is good...
