neon is an ambient/minimal/abstract electronic duet formed by Byron and Chris Setel (in Live performances they are joined by N. They remain minimal through their melodic fragments and sound layers, orchestrating ethereal soul – defining routes. Characterized by the spirit of central European romanticism they create dreamy, melodic schemes, while at the same time they reflect contemporary urban environmental conditions. Music from “Au theatre des sons imaginaires†has been used in Vassilis & Tassos Goudelis short film "The Killer On The Avenue"(O dolofonos tis leoforou) - award for best editing in Drama Film Festival of 2007.
neon have also composed music for Vassilis Goudelis short film "No Entry" and Tassos Goudelis short film "The Meeting" (I Sinantisi).
Their second release "Le chef-d'oeuvre inconnu" (ALTRA TERRA) is the original score for G. Hatzakis theatrical play "To Agnosto Aristourgima" by Honore de Balzac.
Their third release "La Jetee" (Hypnos) is the original score for G. Hatzakis theatrical play "La Jetee" inspired by Chris Marker's movie. At last, they recently completed their fourth album and are looking for a label.
