This site represents the unity of those who wish to see Posada held accountable for the crimes he has committed throughout his life. Under constitutional law, the US government must either recognize the extradition request by the government of Venezuela, or prosecute Posada in this country. Thus far, the US Department of Justice has refused to even address the extradition request filed by Venezuela in 2005, instead treating the case as an immigration issue and holding Posada under charges of illegal entry into the US. This is a highly politicized case, and the US government must hear the voice of the poeple who demand justice. Everybody who sees this page can help, by passing the message along. Keep the voice alive, we want to see Posada and those like him held accountable for their actions!
Those who struggle at the hands of political extremists who implore acts of violence to advance their own political agenda. This is also a space for the families and friends of the victims of Cubana Flight 455. On October 6, 1976, Cubana Flight 455 was scheduled to fly from Guyana to Trinidid, Trinidad to Barbados, Barbados to Kingston, Jamaica and finally Kinsgton to Havana, Cuba. However, nine minutes after takeoff from Barbado’s Seawell airport at 5:24pm EST, a bomb located in the aircraft’s rear lavatory exploded. The pilot tried to return to Seawall airport to no avail, a second bomb exploded minutes later, causing the plane to crash into the Atlantic Ocean about 8 kilometers from the airport. All 48 passengers and 25 crew aboard the plane died: 57 Cubans, 11 Guyanese, and 5 North Koreans. Among the dead were all 24 members of the 1975 National Cuban Fencing team that had just won all the gold medals in the Central American and Caribbean championship; many were teenagers. The attack was the most deadly act of airline terrorism in the Western Hemisphere until the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
