Lo*Chine were a 4 piece band from Southampton. They played massive slabs of wonderful pop, influenced by deep funk, rock, disco and soul.
Sarah, Chris, Vicky and Phil played their first gig together on 19th October 2003. Their final gig will be on the 22nd December 2007. In this time they released the following, quite frankly, brilliant EP’s:
Infectalistic Fantasmafunk in 2004
That Joke Ain't Funky No More in 2005
Smile For The Ladies in 2006
And they had just recorded 4 new songs that will now never be released. However, you can download them all here! You lucky lot!
Lo*Chine played lots of gigs around the South of England with hundreds of great bands. In 2006 Lo*Chine were awarded 'BEST EP OF 2006' by The Mag.me.uk for their EP 'Smile For The Ladies'
To sum up...Lo*Chine had a lot of fun!
