LOKI

Loki, the trickster, is the mythical being of mischief, the master of guile and deception. He knows to alter his guise in order to pursue his evil interests.....But opposite to the common opinion, Loki´s acting always caused chaos as his intentions were as evil-minded as they could possibly be, it often had a good result. Out of destructive intentions he achieved to be creative..... That spirit lives on in his children.....The evil couldn´t be annihilated, is not dead, and still lurks out in the streets..... And so happened what had to happen: Loki´s spirit haunts througout the world again....to be more precisly: the streets of Dresden /Germany....Since the year 2000, four bad-blooded musicians keep up the torch of Loki´s legacy.... The cast changed a bit when Dana Leichsenring, the old drummer, went to Cottbus to deepen her musical knowledge, and was replaced by the maniac beat-machine Andreas Henschel, who joined the band in 2005.....It was then, LOKI took new shape and discovered its love for old-school punk-heoes like the immortal Ramones and thus payed hommage to them by playing several cover-gigs. Later on, they decided to play the old LOKI stuff unplugged...........Since then, a lot of time has passed and none of the musicians could stand still: new songs have been written and the new sound being created by the way always resulted in a frenetic audience.... Since February 2006, the band spent lot of time in the studio to produce the looked-for album "Trickster" which will be released this autumn! So watch out.....the evil is still lurking......The band was founded in early 2000 by Dana Leichsenring & Jörg Richter.
