The first period of the band was named 'june the arrogant' and certanly influenced by the hardcore, metal, punk scene.and tried to organizing his songs with emotional partitures, and breakdown parts. As many other bands, june the arrogant mantains his whole identity even if it blends many styles and music genres on his way. The response from scene was good, but the band, after planning to change the members, was forced and postponed everything. The story continues, and killyourself would like to play several shows in Bogor with many bands. But time changes many things, and the identity of the metallic-hardcore grew. The intentions extend the band's vision, a vision of a new music approach, trying to blend the most extreme parts of hardcore and metal, without losing the emotional side and the heart of june the arrogant. In 2004 the band changed the name 'killyourself' this process brings the new face of killyourself, the new approach and a fresh vision.
