Kayaking, canoeing, camping, riding motorcycles,Jeeps, and re-building my new-to-me Airstream trailer and just generally being outside.Using my mind to invent new things that really shouldn't exist. Ever heard of a CoolerRacer, don't worry... you will.Turning normal things into more spectacular things.Seeing all the things that there are out there, predominantly the old things, not like your grandmother's under-carraige, but the good old things. Ruins and what not, you know things that are more incredible than disgusting.Oh yeah, and consuming delicious food and beverages.
Somebody else with a Jeep and a desire to see South America. Screw it I'll settle for a truck.People who don't just want to sit around. I get stuck doing that sometimes but I feel like I'm wasting time when I do. I'm pretty much up for anything, and want to meet other people who are as well.I want to find people to go on adventures with me. In my mind any event, small or large can become an adventure, I've met some of the most interesting people in my life just catching a ride somewhere.Anyone who would like to take part in my newest adventure in planning; I'm got a Jeep am fixing it up to go who knows where, and hopefully back home again. Then of course there's the long term goal, I'll need help/riders/etc for this one: Anyone want to see the Northern Lights then go all the way to Tierra Del Fuego? I'm not really sure where the farthest place south you can drive to is, but I want to find out. Seriously, I need a co-driver. Can you read a map? Good grasp of the spanish language is a plus, so is being a hot girl.In conclusion, drinking buddies, travelers and fellow adventurers.
Of course all of The Highwaymen, Billy Joel, The Boss, Cast Iron Filter, Citizen Cope, Clarence Carter, Death Cab for Cutie, Drive By Truckers, Johnny Cash, Lucero, Micheal Jackson (until let's say his 15th birthday), Okkervil River, The Postal Service, Townes Van Zandt
Easy Rider, Mulholland Drive, Heat, Fear and Loathing, 12 Monkeys, The Neverending Story
The Office, My Name is Earl, Heroes, The A-Team, Quantum Leap, Mac Guyver, Survivorman, Junkyard Wars (but alas they took it away)
Well for starters on the back of the toilet are: One Two Three Infinity, A Brief History of Time, from the big bang to black holes, The Gospel of Judas, and The Baja Adventure Book, and by Lonely Planet: Iceland etc., South Africa etc., Africa, Central America, and Southeast Asia on a shoestring and Baja & Los Cabos. And on my desk in no particular order is Anthem, The Idiot, Atlas Shrugged, Einstein's Dreams, The Count of Monte Cristo, Paradise Lost(been working on that for over a year now, can't stick with it), and The Magic Mountain.Of course in my car I have a stack of atlases which span from above the arctic circle to below the equator. Who know's where they will take me, but the daydreams are all that really keep me going.
