About Me

I'm a pretty easy-going guy most of the time, and I try not to let the little things get to me. I think I've finally reached the perfect place in my life -- I've found a career that I love and work hard at, but I also know how to enjoy myself and I always make time to go out and kick back.

My Interests

I love playing volleyball, snowboarding, travelling, cooking, finding great restaurants, and karaoke (if I've had enough to drink).

I'd like to meet:

I moved back to Santa Monica after being in NYC for the last two years, so I'm looking to catch up with old friends and maybe meet some new ones.

Music:

I have pretty eclectic tastes (I listen to KCRW non-stop), but I'm definitely a big fan of hip-hop. To name a few... Jay-Z, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, Coldplay, The Roots, Air, Groove Armada, and anything at the Hollywood Bowl.

Movies:

Big Night, Tampopo, Dreams (Akira Kurosawa), Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space.

Television:

I'm a big news junkie: Meet the Press, Bill Maher, The Daily Show. I also like Arrested Development, Family Guy, Knight Rider (especially the episode with K.A.R.R.), and I recently became a big fan of Lost.

Books:

Some poetry (Bukowski, Neruda, Charles Simic, William Carlos Williams), and I've been reading some good non-fiction history and politics books lately too.

Heroes:

Chuck Hagel, Jacques Pepin, Karch Kiraly, my parents.
