Aversion Clothing is a Southern-California based clothing company started in January of 2002.
What's the meaning of Aversion??
When we were trying to find the name for our company, we wanted to incorporate a sense of independence, identity, and empowerment that encompassed the attitudes of our generation. We saw so many clothing companies out there, but none of them seemed to stand for anything.
The word 'aversion' means to turn away from something, or to be against something. When we came across the name, we thought it was perfect. To us it represented something very powerful; the ability to change.
The world we live in is an imperfect place. But what we wanted our brand to reflect is that every individual has the power to change the world, whether they realize it or not. Whether it involves self-examination and improvement, or working on an even grander scale, everyone has the ability to change for the better. And that is what Aversion is all about; examination, ideas, and change.
