Yes, believe it!!! I was born and raised in Oakland California and consider myself privileged to be part of a generation that was influenced by those of the 'Conscious Movements'. I'm a divorced mother of 2 beautiful babies(7,9) and live a relatively quiet and peacefull life. Very passionate about everything I do in life and don't take 'no' for an answer! I have a mixed heritage that includes Black(of course)/Japanese/Blackfoot Indian/French-so pretty open minded and culturally diversed. Recently, I returned to California to assist in family matters and prior, had lived in Arkansas the last 6 years. Needless to say, that was a very humbling and well needed experience and revealed in me that I HAVE MORE COUNTRY WAYS IN ME THAN I THOUGHT! I may come off as being serious and sarcastic but in a playful and humerous way and have a deep care for others in general. Yes I love to laugh and love hard even when it's not expected or given in return. I've been told I'm TOO nice- NO SUCH THING! Somebody's got to be in these last days! I treat people the way that I want to be treated. What keeps me motivated? Thanking God for waking me up in the morning, seeing my kids and knowing that I have the opportunity to do better than the day before.
