I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a wife, a soon to be mom, a registered Veterinary Technician and a college student striving to get into vet school. I'm a little busy. But I try to make as much time as I can for family and friends. I think I would lose my sanity otherwise. I have 1 dog, 2 birds, and 5 fish.

My Interests

Reading, drawing, some anime, animals, veterinary science, animal behavior, ect...

I'd like to meet:

I don't really want to particularly meet anyone, I just want to see if I can get in touch with some old friends and keep in touch with all my friends that are myspace junkies.

Music:

Broadway musicals (RENT being my favorite), Disney soundtracks (sad but true), Live, Counting Crows, GREEN DAY, Aerosmith, Elton John, Billie Joel...well you get the idea. My music interests are all over the place. I just really love music. From broadway to alternative, classic, and punk rock to Disney. There's just too much to list.

Movies:

I really love comedies and chick flicks. Normally the only horror movies that I watch are vampire movies (for some reason they just don't scare me at all). There is some of the horror genre that is totally out for me. Let's just say that after watching The Ring I had nightmares for like 2 weeks and had to cover the television in my room. I also have a very strange zombie phobia, so those movies are out for me. Basically, when it comes to horror/suspense they either have to have a really good plot or be really cheesy as well as having nothing to do with evil little girls comming out the television, spinning heads spitting peas soup, or zombies. I also don't do classic horror cheese like Freddy, Jason, or the Halloween series. I've seen bits and pieces of them all and they just weren't amusing. Too cheesy and not funny enough. I'm really picky about the horror genre. It's one the only things that I'm really picky about. My favorite movies include Ever After, Anna and the King, the Police Academy series, Space balls, Army of Darkness, Pirates of the Carribean, My Cousin Vinny, Stigmata, Bless the Child, Anastasia (yes, I love cartoon movies), Kevin Smith films (I'm not too sure about Clerks 2 though), History of the World Part I, Tea with Musolini, Beauty and the Beast, LOTR trilogy, Dragonheart, Robinhood Men in Tights, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the Labrynth ( I mean who wouldn't love a movie where most of the close up are of David Bowie's nether regions...just kidding..I love it for the story, the bad acting and the muppets, really). Plus many others...

Television:

I'm a Discovery Health addict, I catch Charmed whenever I get the chance; Friends, CSI (only the original), House, That 70's Show, What Not to Wear, ect... That is when I have time to watch tv. Normally I'm home when nothing amusing is on, so we buy everything on DVD.

Books:

The Bible (it's a good book everyone should read it if they get the chance), anything by Laurell K. Hamilton, The Hitch Hiker's guide to the Galaxy series (Douglas Adams, you are a genoius, but did you have to ruin the series with that last book). Pretty much I love to read. I read everything form sci-fi/fantasy to fairytales, manga, to a variety of nonfiction literature. As far as nonfiction goes I like to read whatever's going to benefit me. I've read up on everything from religious changes since the beginning of civilization to most recently, how to start a business. My interests vary, alot.

Heroes:

Jesus.
