About Me

Hello MYSPACE users;WELCOME TO ENCHANTMENT! This is the site of my at-home business, located in the quiet settlement of beautiful Eleuthera, in amazing Bahamas. My name is Sherelle Wallace, owner of Enchantment. I am a single, black Bahamian, with an intriguing demeanor. I started my company in 1998 by singlehandedly designing overseeing what is the first step in a life long dream to love what I do. ENCHANTMENT is a library, internet cafe with other stationary services, and my mom and I have introduced GILL NETTING and FISH POT assembly to our small community. But most of all, ENCHANTMENT is the outlet by which I produce my works as a writer. Before I could properly read I was creating scenes and stories in front of a mirror. This was the unconcious beginning to my writer, directorial career. ENCHANTMENT is located on the outskirts of Green Castle, on the road to Wemyss Bight, Eleuthera. It is housed downstairs of a gray and white enchanting building with a beautiful garden in front.

My Interests

I spend alot of time reading, writing, and watching television. I love to spend time on the beach, as we have many beautiful ones here in The Bahamas. I collect beach treasure, African and Asian statuettes, and dolls.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet ambitious and interesting people from around the world who are positive and inspiring. I aslo would like to meet writers, or people who love to read and see good films. I would appericiate stories and feedback from Bahamian small business owners who can share advise and encouragement. It's a thrilling adventure to venture from a Government Department where you're a "yes man" to your own slice of the pie where "I'm the man". I am not interested in those "getto" fashioned people whose ignorance get the best of them. If you're intelligent, honest, and ambitious, I would love to hear from you.

Music:

VH1 is the first thing on in my house in the morning, and I often play country music softly while I sleep. I love music from the 80's. I beleive music is the soundtrack of our lives, and I prefer reading a book or seeing a food movie to hanging out with friends.

Movies:

Among my favourites, Duplex, Memoirs of a Geisha, The Aviator, White Chicks, Under the Tuscan sun. I love old black and white movies. I only watch kids movies or cartoons when there are children in the room.

Television:

Wow! Where do I begin. Daytime- I watch my soaps. I plan my life around my soaps. Nightime- GREY'S ANATOMY. I watch more television than is healthy. But it is my inspiration. I get alot of story ideas, and also, beleive it or not, learn alot of life lessons. It keeps me occupied and out of trouble. Better to stay at home and watch television than hang out at the bars every night in my oponion.

Books:

I read everything. I am opening a library, will only rent books because I feel too attached to them to sell them. Go figure.
