Band Members:QUESTION - how did the name 187 come about?ANSWER - When i started dj'n I went by the name of dj finesse. Little did i Know there were like 5 finesses in the tri-state are. And when i finally was getting established in jersey, with radio promotions and flyers. These dj's were getting free promtion from me, and vise versa...So i tagged the name djfinesse187... After a while, there were still problems , so I dropped the finesee and kept 187.QUESTION - where does 187 fit in? does it mean murder?ANSWER - 187 comes from 1987 when I bought my first Piece of vinal UTFO self titled album. Man thats a classic. Anyway i was young and wasnt even dj'n then... but looking back, it was a historic moment... MY FIRST PEICE OF VINAL... finesse1987 didnt sound good, so i dropped the 9 and made it 187...
