BIOGRAPHY OF LP GAMBINO
LP Gambino has been making noise in and around the Lansing area for over 10 years. LP, given name Andre Amos, was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan. He spent his early years on Grovenberg breaking and listening to his musical influences NWA, Rakim, and LL. While breaking faded out, LP faded into the rap game
bringing the heat to the Lansing streets . With two other members in his group, The Southside Family independently released their first album in 1995 which caught the attention of certain A&R members in the Death Row and Bad Boy camps. Due to unfortunate circumstances involving death and incarceration, the group split up.
After the split, LP played the background scene and started to produce. Armed with a MPC and K2000, he was determined to change the game. He incubated in the lab for several years until 2003 when he relocated to the streets of Detroit and started his own label, Extremely Inferno. He produced several artists in the Lansing, Detroit, Flint, and Grand Rapids area. LP recorded an arsenal of singles and felt it was time to focus all of his time on his own solo album which has been two years in the making. LP has made his style his own combing a street orientated business style with a rough and raw yet calm uncut sound. This 6 foot 2 giant is coming through the front, the side, the back door, even the basement window of the industry.
