Reseña: El grupo se forma en el sur del D.F. TLAHUAC. En marzo del 2002 nace "THE BAGGINZ" observando una gran madurez en las canciones, como canciones llamadas (Quiero Despertar, No Estoy Loco y My Difference). THE BAGGINZ son un quinteto de Tláhuac, en el DF. Es una de las mejores propuestas de ese rock depresivo en la escuela de Joy Division, The Smiths, Sigur Ros, que se esta gestando en últimas fechas, pero que ya ha sido saturado por muchas bandas imitadoras de otras banditas imitadoras que a las dos canciones ya todo aburre, mas sin en cambio THE BAGGINZ han logrado consolidar ese sonido depresivo ambiental con excelentes estructuras, pop sin rayar en la ñoñez (y lo mejor que sin disfraces), y así destacan la sensibilidad de la depresión. THE BAGGINZ en el medio de la música tienen mucho de que hablar, en los escenarios imponen una gran sensibilidad en todos los sentidos que pocas bandas lo llegan a lograr. Poco a poco han ido sobresaliendo dentro del medio de la música, logrando pisar escenarios con grupos de renombre. Para THE BAGGINZ el 2006 ha sido un buen año, (con excepciones de perdidas de personas que simbolizan algo muy especial para ellos) pero con todo eso, llegan a tener una reseña en la revista R&R no. 46 a principios de Septiembre por Iván Nieblas, uno de los críticos mas exigentes del medio en el Rock and Roll, criticándolos como una novel banda. En Noviembre del 2006 THE BAGGINZ lanza su primer “EP” titulado “VELVET SKY”, teniendo una muy buena respuesta de la gente y del medio… El “EP” titulado “VELVET SKY”, Ángel Coria (vocalista y guitarrista) se lo dedica con gran amor a su padre que en paz descanse... In March, 2002 there is born "THE BAGGINZ " observing a big ripeness in the songs, as songs called (I want To wake up, I am not Crazy and My Difference). THE BAGGINZ is a quintet of Tláhuac, in the DF. It is one of the best proposals of this depressive rock in the school of Joy Division, The Smiths, Sigur Ros, which is growing in the last dates, but which has been already saturated by many imitative bands of other imitative little bands that to two songs he already quite bores, more without on the other hand THE BAGGINZ have managed to consolidate this depressive environmental sound with excellent structures, pop without bordering on the insipidness (and the best thing that without disguises), and this way they emphasize the sensibility of the depression.
