WHO ARE WE REALLY?? Me? My name is Shanna and my nickname is Shay. I acquired this nickname five years ago at a party the night before my wedding when the bestman being drunk called me Shay instead of Shanna and it has stuck ever since. You can call me Shay or Shanna, which ever you choose.
I'm a very straight forward type of person and will speak my mind. I am Wiccan, a psychic, a teacher, a student, a leader, a follower (depends on the situation). But firstmost, I am a mother, wife and daughter. Family is very important to me. I do not play head games nor do I like people that do. I will not lie to you and I can't stand being lied to. You lie to me, I will know it before you even confess, that is if you ever do confess. If you don't want to hear the truth, then don't ask me any questions. I am not a phony, I am just me. I do not like people that try to be something they are not. Those type of peope are not only being untrue to others but they are being untrue to themselves. I can be serious but yet I can be silly, you never know.
I can be a true friend or your worst enemy. Do right by me, I'll return the favor. Do wrong by me, I'll wash my hands of you. You choose. I am a good honest person who treats everyone kindly. I say treat others as you would want to be treated. Treat me and/or my family right and be honest, then I will do all I can for you. BUT try to manipulate, destroy, abuse my trust or use me and/or my family then I will have nothing to do with you.
During my lifetime I have seen abuse and manipulation done to others in my family. Plus I became a victim of abuse which only became worse when I started fighting back and I was a victim of manipulation. All of which I managed to end and got rid of the bad element (ex-boyfriend) that was in my life. As it turned out all of this has made me a stronger person and more determined to never be a victim again. This is probably why I stand my ground so firmly and won't let anyone push me around, not family, friend or foe. This might be a bit brutal but it's best to honest from the start. Right?
I love thunder storms and I love to sit on the porch and watch the lightning. There is just something about thunderstorms that is so soothing. I like to lay outside on the ground and stare at the stars and watch for shooting stars. All the while thinking about how our universe is just one small part of a much larger universe.
I have my own views, beliefs and opinions on life and other issues and I won't let anyone try to change that. Not man, woman nor beast. Those that have tried never tried again. Yes, I'll admit that I can be stubborn. But can't we all from time to time?
When I was a small child, my all time favorite cartoon was Roadrunner and my favorite radio commercial was Culligan Water Softner company. My mother said that I would sit in front of the tv and be glued there until the roadrunner cartoons were over. Then I'd get up and run around through the house saying "BEEP! BEEP!". As for the radio commercial, she told me that I would come running when I heard it on the radio, stand there with my ear to the speaker and when it was over, once again I'd take off through the house yelling "HEY, CULLIGAN MAN!". Every time I hear a Culligan commercial now, I think back to my childhood. I have two tattoos, one is of a butterfly and the other (OF COURSE) is a Tiny Toon Roadrunner saying "BEEP BEEP". This one is an original (taken from a coloring book). The tattoo artist liked the way it came out so much that he added it to his collection.
I am happily married to my same flame. So if you are looking for a relationship, you got the wrong person. But if you want a friend, then I'm here.
