About Me

Hello Friends... My name is Vanessa Hidalgo and I welcome you to my page. My beautiful heritage is one of Mexican descent(my father is from La Stillero, Zacatecas Mexico, and my mother roots lie in Oaxaca and Apizaco, Tlaxcala). I take great pride in embracing my roots and culture. I have a beautiful family, great friends, and absolutely love life !!!! It is such a blessing to wake everyday and to be given yet another chance to start a new beginning :) I live in Los Angeles and am training for my acting career at the Sanford Meisner Center in North Hollywood and have grown tremendously as an artist. I am a believer that to be successful in anything-- you must give whatever it is you desire, your heart & soul, 100%, and never give up! Most people give up after a few tries-- and then live their life wonderfing... "What if I only continued.. then what would my life be like???" I did that for four years after college, when I "quit" acting and persued other endeavors, and dabbled in and out of jobs I thought would fulfill me. When you stick to one thing that you love, commit to it fully, even when it gets so hard and discouraging, and don't give up, you will be successful!!! It took me a long time to realize that-- and I continuously have to remind myself of that daily! Although those four years kept me feeling like I wasn't progressing in life-- those 4 years were the best years of my life because I learned what I really wanted, and what I did not want. And success does not happen overnight... Rather it is the little things you do daily to perfect what you love, that build progress and growth... and that progression is SUCCESS!!! I come to the realization that everything that happens in my life is a blessing!!! Even the bad stuff-- because it is the resistance that is making me stronger, my character, my sense of self, my goals, and my experience. When you see everything in your life as a blessing-- life can never be bad, but WONDERFUL and SPECTACULAR, no matter where you are, what you have, or what you know...:) You just get back up again and try AGAIN... And again, and again... until it works. And when it does, you do something else that challenges you, and you ENJOY IT!In addition to my training as an artist, I have an amazing travel business online that is allowing me the freedom to travel more, earn amazing income, and travel for pennies !!! Please check my website at www.happytravelco.worldventures.com for some amazing deals and learn how you can TRAVEL FOR FREE!!! I am also a part of the phenomenal cast in this seasons's, "Know the Facts" Choices Program... an educational play geared towards preventing teen pregnancy, STD's, date rape/violence which is touring at various middle/high schools in southern California. CAN - Father & son bond of Dick and Rick Hoyt together

The remarkable father-son bond of Dick and Rick Hoyt, and their inspirational journey together in marathons, triathlons and life itself. The goal of Team Hoyt is to integrate the physically challenged into everyday life. One way to accomplish this is to educate the able-bodied, making them more aware of the issues that the disabled face every day. Another is by actively helping the disabled to participate in activities that would otherwise be inaccessible to them. Team Hoyt targets both of these areas.
