Dakara

dakara was born around December 2003, from the remains of another project that some of us shared, we then, took our time in studio to create a sound that we could call as our own, and evolved from a progressive styled metal to a more focused structured fast metal not forgetting our past influences. We started our touring in late 2005 but shortly after our second guitar player Jamal dropped the band due to creative differences. We worked our way around it and tried to find a replacement, and by the end of 2006 we welcomed João from local band Fraction of Death. Currently we are working in our set and trying to put it on the road to find a final work that we’d be proud of.
dakara by no means follow any trend of music nor support no preconceived style of life or choices, we embrace individuality as well free-thinking. Due to our profound different tastes we often find ourselves creating sounds that need plenty of work to blend well together. We also don’t take ourselves too seriously, and before anything we’re a strong and united group of friends that feel the urge to share their reality with others. In our way we found many who we love to share our lifes with. And with them and for them we’ll keep doing this.
