I am a model and struggling actress. I started modeling when I was in high school just to make a little extra money – mostly department store catalog work. During high school I was very active in my drama department. I have been the lead in pretty much all of the plays while I was in school. I went to one year of community college when I was discovered by an agent in Holllywood. So, I put my education on hold to pursue my true dream. Now, I go to several acting classes a week and work with a private coach for important auditions. My dream is to one day go to RADA – the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. I would like to learn Shakespeare and do some workshops. I hope that someday I can do Shakespeare in the park in New York City – which is where I would live if I didn’t live in LA (or London!). For now, I mostly go on auditions for commercials and wait for my big break. I’m lucky that I don’t have to do the waitress thing (because I’m a little clumsy) – my family helps me some and I live in the guesthouse of my Aunt in Hancock Park. I love all live performance – so, if not a play, then music, comedy – and I LOVE Cirque du Soleil! With friends, I like to go to theatre row on Santa Monica or catch a live music show at one of the venues on Sunset or Melrose.
