I am a 41 y.o. single mother of two beautiful daughters, Victoria 13 and Ashley 8 who are the pride and joy of my life Victoria plays softball all year round, and also plays piano, and Ashley is a gymnast. I'm very proud of them both. However Victoria is getting older now and I don't get to see her as much now as she has more interests. But that's just part of life, her growing up, and she would rather go to slumber parties and play in softball tounaments. But it gives Ashley and I some special time together, and Ashley just loves it when it's just her and I. Time flies by folks, so love and spoil them while they are little because once they find other interests, they would rather do that then spend time with mommy. We do have a family cabin at the Poconos that they both still LOVE to go to in August every year. We have been going there since they were babies. We have had the cabin for about 15 years, it's lakefront and beautiful. We own a couple of docks which are perfect for fishing, so we just go up and have a blast. I suffered a near-fatal car accident a while back where I needed to be life-flighted to Altoona Trauma Center where I spent 5 days in the Trauma ICU, and another 6 days in the step-down unit. I broke 4 ribs,sustained 2 cervical disc herniations, three other disc herniations thru out my spine,punctured lung, shattered ankle, and a vestibular concussion, along with a bunch of other injuries. I rolled a blazer and I was pinned underneath the vehicle. I just had to have major back surgery as a result of the accident on April 27th of this year and it's been a very grueling recooperation,I had to recover all thru the summer, a lot of physical therapy. This past month and a half I've have three separate steroidal injections into my spinal cord to help alleviate the chronic pain. I have one more round of injections to go in about a month, not allowed any more and hopefully the pain will be lessened. It's kind of a "quick fix" as they say, but my doctor tells my I will probably have pain for the rest of my life. I am a Registered Nurse, for 20 years and am looking forward to going back to work as soon as possible. But I can't do that until I'm sure I would be able to handle it physically and emotionally. So we will see, on day at a time, just like everything else in this world. My interests are NCAA Basketball, when March Maddness comes around I am a nut!!! My favorite team is DUKE!! I also love to camp, fish, spend quality time with my girls,crafts, music and TV Well, that's about it for now, if you have any questions, please ask.
