Holocaust Remembrance Day and the Armenian Genocide were both commemorated/remembered this month (April). Both atrocities should never have taken place…but they did. The world stood by during the Cambodian killing fields, or the more recent genocides in Rwanda/Burundi, East Timor, or Bosnia, and WE are standing by while genocide is taking place in Darfur! How many deaths does the path of genocide have to leave behind during this century before something is done? Zochor (Remember)!
