First off my real name is, Mark Sinclair Vincent.I worked as a bouncer in New York at the famous nightclubs Tunnel (which has since closed) and Mars.I have a twin brother, Paul Vincent, who is a film editor.Also a younger sister, Samantha and a younger brother.I am bi-racial, being half African-American and half Italian American.My first feature was, Strays (1997). Six months after shooting, the film it was accepted for the 1997 Sundance Film Festival, and although it received a good reception, it didn't sell as well as i hoped. Yet again i returned disappointed to New York only to receive a dream phone call. Steven Spielberg was impressed by my film and wanted to meet me, leading me to be cast in Saving Private Ryan (1998).When the director of The Iron Giant (1999) saw it he decided to cast me in the title role. From there, My career has steadily grown, with me securing my first lead role as 'Richard B Riddick' in the sci-fi film Pitch Black (2000). That role has earned me a legion of devoted fans and the public recognition i worked hard for. Thank You
