Hey good people
I am 32 years old, and am happily married to my wonderful husband Adam - coming up 10 years. We have a beautiful fluffy black cat, Gizmo, who is my wee baby.
I am a big fan of music. Music is what keeps me going.
My absolute favourite bands/solo artists are Live, John Mayer, Bryan Adams, Tadpole, Jimmy Barnes, Cold Chisel, Robbie Williams, Icehouse - among many others.
I don't think idolising people is a good thing, but I certainly admire the above bands and artists. My all time favourite band is of course +Live+. On Friday 20th October 06, I met some darn amazing people, and was given the opportunity to meet the guys from the band whose music I have loved and admired for so so long. To go to Sydney and see +Live+ in concert in both Newcastle, and Sydney was just mindblowing, and then to go backstage to meet the boys......you can imagine what that does to a person.
I didn't know that amazing things like this truly happen, but they do. They truly do. For the boys to allow fans to meet them and be so humble about it, is just something really quite unique in this world today. They don't *have* to do it - they *choose* to do it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - for the music, for doing what you do, and for injecting something very unique into this world. Everyone who I encountered who is closely involved with them - I take my hat off to you too - I will never be able to thank these people enough. I've made some great friends out of this experience, and continue to do so. +Live+ fans are in a league of their own.

If there is one thing I have learned from this experience, it is to not give up on your dreams.
