Kick Ass Rock n' Roll

About Me

Greetings, Monkfans and those who aren't!In early 2003 Voxx, Dogg and Bones start the Band Bulletmonks with axeman Dan. After almost a year of rehearsal up to that time, they hit the road and quickly become recognized on the local newcomer scene. They play live dates throughout the year of 2004 and start recording their first Demo-Album Hell Bent Insanity. The musical unfluences range wide... From older greats like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin or ACDC up to newer acts like Clutch, Black Label Society, GnR, Velvet Revolver or even Wolfmother, Soundgarden and Audioslave. Every Member brings his own note to the band. After recording for about 4 months, a 10 track very Hard Rock and Metal orientated CD is born.In summer 2005 the band is forced to end their engagement with Bass-Player Bones, after 2 very great years together. They wish him the best of luck to follow his career as a musician. He will never be forgotten. The new man was quickly found. In September 2005 Maurice Spreace Jackson from LA enters the band, from now on whielding the bass on stage. After only 2 weeks of rehearsal the band hit the stages again, starting a new era for everyone involved. This is only the beginning of an unbelievable experience for the band...The engine is running, folks, after the last shows of the wintertour, the monks will hit the rehearsal again, to begin recording the next piece of music in winter. The debut album is due in spring 2007 and we're all very anxious to spread it among the ones who live Rock and Roll!
