I am here for Friends

About Me

i am a psychologist/clinical psychologist/counselor... i work with adults with autism and mental retardation as a residential manager/director....i'm usually acting like a clown/idiot/adolescent/nut case...i have a great woman that i've been with since september 2005 and we are engaged to be married...i've finally come to the realization that i will never see myself in the mirror with my eyes closed...i'm 6'1, 215lbs...one of my favorite things in the world is music...i think that i would rather die than to go without music...i love traveling (been to the carribean three times, hawaii, across the entire united states for a whole month, mexico, new york city a few times, extended time in texas, florida, virginia and washington d.c., a cruise to canada, ireland, and that happy place that i go to when i've had a few drinks)...i do my best to be a good runner, when i'm not in extreme pain from shin splints, bad knees and a goofed up left ankle....i can run double digit miles pretty easily now (i run for distance and the enjoyment of it, not for speed as of now) ....hopefully i'll be able to do the boston marathon this spring if my body cooperates

My Interests

music, nature, movies, psychopharmacology, eating, videogames, running, comedy, hiking, sports (red sox, celts, pats, bruins, boston college), psychology, meditation, reading, laughing, helping my clients, concerts, weight lifting (not too serious), special lady katie, vacationing around the world (especially ireland), running around and dancing in thunder storms, petting nice animals, etc.

I'd like to meet:

the Higher Power in the good old afterlife, i'd also like to meet in heaven, if there is one, my puppy dog that kicked the proverbial bucket and my friends that have passed on to who knows where...i'd like to meet any new york yankees player so i could give them a swift kick in the balls just to tell the story to everyone... i would enjoy meeting the robotic bird that rocked the cameo on a few episodes of aqua teenage hunger force....i'd like to meet and then hopefully go for a nice ride on that giant beast from the neverending story flick...i'd like to meet one of the monkies from planet of the apes with the rubber monkey mouth that speaks at different times than the actor's mouth inside of the rubber monkey mouth....i'd like to meet frankenberry perhaps....i'll like to meet barry melrose so i could tell him what a sweet mullet he has...i'd like to meet someone that could give me enough money to start my own program to help people with either mental health issues or addiction
