Any questions? Read all about it in the interests section on the left side of this page.

I could write a novel telling you all about who I really am and what makes me tick, but would you actually read it?
What do you want to know about me?
Ask, and I'll tell you.

My Interests

Hair: I have been involved in the beauty industry since 1990. My career as hairdresser allows me to meet interesting people from all walks of life and use my creativity to not only make them beautiful on the outside, but feel good about themselves on the inside too.

I work with a very talented group of professionals at M Coiffure Full Service Salon in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Please visit the salon's website to get more information or to book an appointment with me.

I also work with TIGI , the makers of Bead Head .
I am on the TIGI Colour Creative Force team, which gives me the opportunity to travel and meet hairdressers all over North America as I help educate the beauty industry about TIGI Colour and PDot technology.

Doing hair is more than a job for me. It's one of my passions, it's my art and it's a way for me to make a positive impact on people's lives. People who look good feel good!

..

Nightlife: I really enjoy the club scenes in NYC and SOBE, but when I'm at home in Harrisburg, you'll find me enjoying tapas and the best mojitos in town at Suba , chuggin' PBR pounders and slamming Jager bombs at Smalls or lounging and dancing in big city style at Privado .

Prague and Ibiza are on my must-do list and I should be getting an invite to party at Playboy Mansion any day now because I am way cooler than Fred Durst!

Fashion: I love clothes! Specifically, well made clothes that fit right and have unique style that says Rock Star!
I love designer denim by Rock & Republic, and I live in t-shirts by Affliction and Monarchy. You can usually find me shopping on Broadway in NYC or South Street in Philly.

"A lot of my inspiration comes from the work of Derek Zoolander."

Travel: I love to travel as much as I can. I get to my favorite places like New York City and Miami on a regular basis. I've also been to Kauai, Jamaica, Mexico, Asia and Europe, but there's still a lot of places I want to see. I love the culture of different countries. I'm fascinated by everything from the people to the food to the architecture, but there's nothing I like better than the sun and clear blue water!

Photography: I love my cameras and what I can do with them. I had been out of photography for a long time, but computers and photo editing software rekindled my interest in taking pictures. Whether it's still life, candid, action or studio glamour photography, I'll shoot it.
Here's a few from my gallery at hotwasabi.com :

Sushi: It's one of my favorite foods, and one that I never get tired of. My all time favorite sushi experiences were at Nobu in NYC (when Morimoto was still there) and Sushi Samba in SOBE.

Booze: I'm obsessed with top shelf Tequila, Single Malt Scotch and making the perfect Mojito, but I'm not always a snob when it comes to my drink; I'll chug a domestic beer or slam shots of Cuervo when that's what's being served.
Since we're talking about slamming shots, here's a picture of me with the devil itself: Jagermeister!

Speed: I have a serious speed addiction!
I'm an amatuer motorcycle racer and instructor for a trackday club. This is me draggin' a knee at 90 mph on my Yamaha R6:

I grew up around British roadsters and the Mazda Miata is a sports car that gives me the feeling of an MG without the constant repair. Here I am driving my prepared Miata to victory in an SCCA State Championship Autocross:

I really, really love driving! I go to driving schools whenever I can. Here I am beating my instructor's lap times in a Formula Ford:

As if race cars and motorcycles weren't enough, I decided to give flying a try. Here I am at the stick in a Bell 430 helicopter:

I'd like to meet:

Professional hairdressers and colourists.
People who want me to do their hair.
People who want to model for me.
Cool people with interesting interests and stuff.
Send me an e-mail if you think I'll think you're interesting... and stuff.

TIGI Instinctive: The Dawn of Colour

Professional hairdressers, colour specialists and TIGI Artists and Educators should check out the new MySpace group, TIGI Colour .

Music:

I like all kinds of music. My collection has everything from Classical to Metal, Country to Hip Hop.
These days, my playlists are heavy on music that falls under the electronic umbrella: trance, house and lounge music are what you'll hear at my house or in my car.
I love to chill out to Thievery Corporation and I have a tendency to drive too fast (and get tickets) when I drive to Tiesto.

I love live sessions of electronic dance music. Here I am getting in the mix with the Premium Blends DJs.

Trance lives in Moet Room at Privado , Harrisburg's upscale lounge and nightclub that features EDM artist DJ Kaelum .
Check out DJ Kaelum's latest release, Shine, a 2-disc set that is available for purchase exclusively to Moet Room guests.

Television:

nip/tuck
A gluttonous indulgence of fantasy that I'm sure is somebody's reality.
Don't even think of calling me when nip/tuck is on.

Aside from one favorite show a week, I don't watch much TV, unless you count the news and late night variety shows. These days, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson keeps me up at night. I love his brand of humor!

Once I'm done laughing at Craig, I indulge myself in my secret, guilty pleasure: The Weather Channel on sleep timer. You gotta love those Muzak versions of Pink Floyd songs!

Books:

The last few books I've read are biographies:
- Jenna Jameson: How to... Make Love Like a Porn Star
- Marilyn Manson: The Long Hard Road Out of Hell
- Eric Moon: The Life and Library Times

Each of these figures are rebels and trailblazers in their respective fields. I recommend reading all three.

Heroes:

My Grandfather: His name was handed down to me.
His crusade against censorship was instrumental in keeping controversial, but important, literary works on the shelves of American libraries. (read "Eric Moon: The Life and Library Times")
I have a tendency to be verbose when illustrating a point or defending my position... I'm a stubborn bastard! I go on passionately about things I like and I love to tell a good story.
I'll give you one guess as to who I get those traits from.

Lance Armstrong: As a former bicycle racer myself, I admire Lance Armstrong for his accomplishments in the sport. His battle with cancer revealed a man with sheer determination and a will to not only live, but succeed.
Yes, I wear one of those passe yellow wristbands. Every time I look at it, it reminds me to never quit and to look within myself for the strength and courage to succeed.
