A banda surgiu em 2001 como banda de covers. Houve alguns concertos até 2003, altura em que foi decidido que se iria começar a trabalhar em originais, tendo a formação sido dividida. Os Metaphor passaram a ser constituÃdos pelo Tiago e pelo Molefas.
O objectivo era agora encontrar um vocalista e um baixista. Durante cerca de 3 anos passaram pela banda inúmeras pessoas para ocupar esses lugares, mas nenhuma ficou até se convidar o João (em inÃcios de 2006) para experimentar a tocar baixo. Viria a ficar como vocalista, e não como baixista.
Recentemente o Pires juntou-se à banda para ocupar o lugar de baixista, e estamos agora a procurar organizar alguns concertos para o Verão de 2007.
A finalidade deste projecto, para além de proporcionar bons momentos, é aproveitar o máximo da criatividade e influências de cada um e transformar isso em algo com que o grupo se identifique.

The band was born in 2001 as a covers project. Some gigs took place until the year of 2003, time when the formation splited and it was decided to begin working on original songs. Only Tiago and Molefas remained at the band.
Now the main goal was to find a vocals and a bassist. For about 3 years many people were invited for a tryout but none remained. But when 2006 started, João was invited to play the bass, but in the end he would become the vocals.
Recently, Pires joined the band as a bassist, and we are now looking foward to play live in the 2007 Summer.
The purpose of this project, beyond provide good moments, is to take advantage of the creativity and influences of each one of the members, and turn that into something that the band can relate with.
