"Extaz’ Records"Founded in March 2005 in Conakry by Cheick Tjan 1er aka DA GHOST. Extaz Records is an exciting, new independent label representing the African side of hip hop and R&B. The Vienna-based company was founded by the visionary entrepreneur DaGhost, whose love for music runs deep within his Guinean roots, and his multicultural education.ExTaz Records was based in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa until Da-Ghost moved to Vienna for his multimedia studies. Through Extaz Records, Da-Ghost works closely with his partners all around the worlds in order to produce and promote African Artists/ Artists living in Africa.DaGhost’s vision for the label is the musical and cultural exchange between Africa and the rest of the world. He believes that music is a key tool for communication and education.The label’s mission is to unlock doors for new artists and undiscovered talent looking for chances they may not get, either because they lack the industry connections or the know-how.After participating in the formation of two local Hip-Hop groups, DaGhost decided to work for Vice-versa communication, a local entertainment company. Following that, he decided to invest his time in helping young artist grow, while promoting a better image of Hip hop and R&B in Africa.
