Born and raised in Charlotte, Andrew Wilson first picked up a guitar when he was four. Since then, his fascination with it has only grown. His father, Walter finally agreed to teach him at the age of ten. After soaking up all of his father's musical knowledge, he went on to learn from Charlie Dobbins at the age of 15. Since 18, he's been on his own picking up tips and licks here and there everywhere from DVD's, to learning from grammy nominated musicans, and most of all, from experimenting. In December of 2003 at the age of 19, Andrew finally decided to step into the music business on a more permanent basis. He started teaching with Trent Moody of the Moody Bros. (2 Grammy nominations, a Golden Reel Award, and a Gold Record) at the historic Lamon Studio of Music in Mint Hill, NC. While still teaching, Andrew now plays lead guitar for Mecklenburg Community Church where he is a staff musician, band director, and composer. Andrew is also working on his first full-length album at The Dog House of Sounds Rich Productions. Expressing himself through instrumental music and solo instrumental rock projects are Andrew's true passions.Alot of people have been great mentors and motivators for Andrew: Walter Wilson, Charlie Dobbins, John Hogan, Trent Moody, Carlton Moody, Dave Moody, Rich Mason, Rick Harwell, David Nason, Rusty Barkley, Noel Friedline, and Dennis Johnson.

MoonChild

"Moonchild" is the next song on my "Budget EP".  It's a love song, which should be obvious by the euphoric jazz feel.  It tells a story that only music can tell and expresses feeling that on...
