RUGBURN

The product of many months of musical evolution, Rugburn (formally known as the cheesy cover band, Sunburn -formed 1999) has strived to set new standards in self-loathing ineptitude. Continually amazed at our remarkable ability to recall rock-and-roll songs with as many as 5 different chords, with little or no practice, our motto of "We are average even when we are bad," continues to enable this strategy of apathy which has served us so well. So fasten your seatbelts, superfans... depending on how late we were out last night, we may still be ready to conquer your smoky neighborhood bar at a moments notice.I agree that rarely practicing, eating poorly, and rarely sleeping is a stupid move, but I also think it's important to take a step back and look at the long-term benefits. Rugburn has always been looked at as a well-oiled machine. But that also meant we were predictable -- we could always be counted on to do the smart thing, the right thing. No more, though. Now our fans must be ready for Rugburn to do completely stupid, ill-advised things, too. And that makes us much harder to prepare for.(Thanks to DJ Gallo, for that entertaining bit of plagarism)
