Female 24 Bloody brilliant….I’m a Virgo, not a typical one either as I’m quite messy but I am a bit of a perfectionist when I need to be…Since studying and passing my BA Honours in Events with Music and Media Management, I have always tried to keep involved within music and events, even though my main focus now is on photography I’ve had the opportunity to work at some pretty decent venues such as the Jazz Café, Astoria, Union Chapel and City Showcase events, Not to mention countless images of folk at the Matrix (Yes locals, remember Soul Kitchen and G:UK? Lol!!)and more recently DMC World championships and De-A-co video shoot, In the City Urban, And Jon B!!!Love the energy that comes from live shows so I’ve been fortunate to have had these jobs but anywhere with live music you know your going to have a good time! Live bands are the business, proper talent is not goes beyond just a backing track….Over the years I’ve always tried to snap away as and when I could and always like to have my camera handy. At the moment I’m studying part-time for the commercial side of things (food advertising) and getting to grips with controlled lighting which is relatively new to me, is pretty interesting, I know I need to get my own lights. I’d love to set up a studio for portraits and still life images. Previously I studied black and white film photography but skylarking and general faffing about i.e. not attending college put that course on permanent hold a few years back….To be honest I’ve kinda gone full circle with the photography, (as with music and fashion), it has always been a part of me so now is the time for me to take it seriously and be seen, improve get my work seen, improve get my name out there keep learing from the established photographers…its what I enjoy and love….Personally, I feel I’ve been dealt a few blows, especially recently but its all good as I have my health, friends and family and talking about things someone said that these are just opportunities which you should not regret and that in the long run you will understand why what happened, happened so I’m ready for the next opportunity…Would love to travel as I have zero ties, preferably the states as I’ve never been, do a big ass tour and see what all the fuss is about….with camera obviously…
