Brains Out, Bods Up

About Me

From Arizona, now living (it up) in Brooklyn, here we offer to your ears the newest musical creations of Jason Brandt. With the do it yourself style that drove him to zig-zag the continent singing to America's underground music fans over the last three years, Jase has attacked the (art of) independent recording. The result is equally gritty and refreshingly genuine. Made with two mics and a couple tracks, these raw new things are born. HARRIS TRUCKS is the new music, and though the original work features Brandt on all instruments, the songs "Damn Shame," "Dead Dumb And Gone" and "Baby Mama's Husband" are some of the first to include contributions from various live line-ups. While it has great widespread appeal, the core of this material is unique and alternative. Its life springs from an anthemic heart and active mind bursting with expression. Combine this inspiration with a ton of electric pop fun and you get HARRIS TRUCKS: a band whose trajectory as it grows is assured to be original, smart, and irresistible.
